Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. officials are excited to announce the first major performer slated for Summerfest 2011. Toby Keith will headline the Marcus Amphitheater on Friday, July 1 at 8:00PM along with special guest, Eric Church.
Keith’s albums have sold more than 33 million copies, ranking him among the top-selling all-genre artists on Billboard's Top 200 Artists of the Decade. His hit list includes “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” “Beer for My Horses” (a 2003 duet with Willie Nelson) and “As Good as I Once Was.” He was named Billboard's No. 1 Artist of the Decade and No. 1 Country Songwriter of the Decade and his tours have drawn more than one million fans each year for the last decade.
Keith’s most recently released studio album, Bullets In The Gun, debuted in the Billboard Top 200 with it’s title track currently in the top 20 and climbing.
Joining Keith on tour is country rocker Eric Church, who has had a rapidly growing fan base since his first album, Sinners Like Me, debuted in 2006.
