One month from now, the Allman Brothers Band returns to the Beacon Theatre for 13 shows, and Hittin' the Note will be there in force! For years they have been doing special pre-show parties during the Beacon Run where fans can enjoy each others' company, unique, intimate musical performances, and buy the latest and greatest HTN merch without those pesky shipping charges.
This year TWO Beacon events, on Saturday March 12th and Saturday March 19th, and tickets are going fast! This year we will be holding both events at the legendary Iridium club, an intimate room that only holds 180 people. Some of you may remember that we have had to turn people away from these Beacon parties in the past, so if you want to make sure you get in, get your tickets in advance.
The music for these events will be top notch; the March 12th show features Randall Bramblett of Sea Level fame, with singer/songwriter Davin McCoy opening, while Tommy Talton and Scott Boyer of Cowboy perform on the 19th. These veterans of the golden age of Capricorn Records are amazing musicians, and you can't go wrong with either show, so you should just go to both!
