Today marks the 30th anniversary of John Lennon’s murder, Lennon's last interview to air

Today marks the 30th anniversary of John Lennon’s murder. He was gunned down by Mark Chapman outside his apartment in Central Park, New York with Yoko Ono by his side.

Chapman is still in jail and despite six requests for parole he is still incarcerated.

Lennon's last interview

In memory of Lennon's death, ReelRadio.com is presenting the original three-hour radio interview on its Aircheck Channel stream, at www.reelradio.com/aircheckchannel.

The plan is to stream it at 9 a.m., noon, 3 and 6 p.m. Wednesday. It will be for subscribers only, but the subscription rate is low - as little as $15 per year for unlimited access to hundreds of radio station airchecks.

Additionally, beginning Sunday, ReelRadio will make available the entire three hours of the Dr. Don Rose morning show that originally aired Dec. 9, 1980. Portions of the Sholin interview were played on Dr. Don's show as well. For that, go to the main page of www.reelradio.com.
