We're delighted to announce legendary indie rockers The Flaming Lips as the next headliner to be confirmed for the 2011 Eden Sessions, with special guests The Go! Team and OK Go.
The Flaming Lips are renowned for their spectacular, eccentric live shows with elaborate costumes, puppets, confetti and lead-singer Wayne Coyne's man-sized plastic bubble in which he walks over the top of crowds.
The Go! Team will come to Eden with tracks from their new album Rolling Blackouts, which was released last month. This latest release is their third studio album, following 2004's Mercury-nominated Thunder, Lightning, Strike and 2007's Proof of Youth.
Quirky Chicago alt rock four-piece OK Go have three studio albums under their belts, including last year's acclaimed Of the Blue Colour of the Sky. In 2007, the band won the Best Short-Form Music Video Grammy for Here It Goes Again.
