The first four dates for North America, begin July 2 in Toronto and run through July 22 in Los Angeles.
Soundgarden -- comprised of Chris Cornell, Matt Cameron, Ben Shepherd and Kim Thayil -- announced in February that the band had begun working on a new album. The new album is being recorded in a Seattle studio, according to a press release, and will be the first new album in more than 15 years.
